Restaurants
There are Chinese, Indian and Malay restaurants in the main town centres of Brinchang, Tanah Rata and Ringlet, but by far the most popular and numerous are Chinese restaurants. Chinese food in Cameron Highlands is a must try for all first time visitors and tourists. The Chinese restaurants offer a wide variety of dishes cooked in various styles from spicy to sweet which you can pick from their menu.

A circular metal pot is placed on the stove and heated with soup till it begins to simmer. Then, patrons pick out fillings from a plate that includes raw vegetables, fish, meat and eggs and dump it into the pot, allowing to cook before eating it.
Cafes and Stalls
Restaurants are not the only places to go for food in Cameron Highlands. Visitors and tourists can head to traditional stalls or fancy cafes that serve local and international cuisine. Most of these cafes and stalls are open-air, allowing patrons to enjoy the soothing atmosphere of the highlands along with their food. You can find them all over Brinchang and Tanah Rata Town, often within walking distance of each other.
