Where to Go ~ Rose Gardens

The Rose Gardens in Cameron Highlands house a spectacular variety of roses and flowers of many different colours. The cooling climate and fertile soil provide for an abundanc of continental flowers, giving local visitors a chance to see them grow naturally, rather than just as decorations in hotels and restaurants. There are three popular rose gardens; Rose Center located in Kea Farm, Robertson Rose Garden in Sungai Palas and the Rose Valley in Tringkap.

The Rose Center is located in Kea Farm, near the main market area from Brinchang Town. Housed in a dilapidated complex, the pathway spirals through a few floors, but visitors can see the different kinds of roses, flowers and shrubs along the way. To get there, one needs to head through the Kea Farm Market and follow the signboards for about 1 km.

Once reached, there is an entrance at the bottom of the complex where you get your tickets to enter the Rose Center. The center also sells different varities of flowers and plants if any of the exhibits catch your fancy. Other than the Rose Center, the Robertson Rose Garden is situated on a hill slope along the way to Gunung Brinchang, while Rose Valley is much further down the main road from Brinchang in Tringkap, but probably has the best range of plants for sale.
