The Lakehouse is a boutique hotel at Cameron Highlands, nestled on a hill slope with a panoramic view of Habu Dam about 2km after Ringlet, or 5km before Tanah Rata town. Located along the main road opposite a vegetable market, this exclusive resort provides luxury accommodation in 19 rooms and suites, housed in two colonial-era bungalows of Tudor architecture. The hotel's old world setting is classy - the interiors dressed with rafters, fine carpets, antique items and Victorian furniture. Built in 1970 by a retired British army officer, the hotel is a tranquil family getaway, blending into a background of serene rainforest. Of note is the restaurant, which serves continental fine dining and afternoon tea.
