Lata Kinjang

Chenderiang, Malaysia

Lata Kinjang is one of Malaysia's highest waterfalls, cascading down a steep 200 meter-high stretch of rocky slopes and surfaces at Chenderiang. Located about 12km north of Tapah, the waterfall is highly visible along the North-South Highway due to its sheer size and height, easily impressing travellers to a quick detour at the nearest exit (Kampar).

Follow the signboards to Chenderiang town (also possible from Tapah) in order to locate the rural road that leads to Lata Kinjang, which crosses a bridge over the North-South Expressway. A small parking fee is charged for cars (normally active only on weekends and public holidays) at the recreational park below the falls.
